Scarpelli and Kehde's
The legendary serial killer of Victorian London comes to life in Scarpelli and Kehde's award winning musical drama. Set to open at 7 pm June 20th as the inaugural production of the new Elk City Playhouse, 218 West Washington Street, Jack the Ripper combines a brilliant score with an intimate setting to provide a moving and occaisionally frightening theater experience. The cast of 35 includes Ted Rose as the title character with Kevin Pauley as his nemesis, Inspector Abberline, Maddy Gourevitch as the ghost of Jack's dead mother, and Maddie Wright as Mary Kelly, Jack's love interest and final victim. A small orchestra completes the ensemble.
Shows continue at 7 pm June 21,22,27,28,29 with a 2 pm matinee on Sunday, June 23. Seating is limited so advanced ticket purchases are strongly suggested at cyacwv.showclix.com. Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $8.00 for students/seniors.
